Dora is back!!!

Hello hello!

Another week has come and gone here in Guadalajara and I'm still loving every minute! We've had a busy week this week and it's been fun running around with Hermana Barlow introducing her to people and learning together. She is a máquina and we're always on the go. It's going to be a great transfer full of miracles! Speaking of miracles... I wanted to talk about our good friend Dora! I feel bad because I don't write too much about our friends, but sometimes they come and go, it's up and down and I'm never really sure what I should and can write... but this week - a giant prayer was answered.

We met Dora on my very first day here in Guadalajara with Hermana Estrada and we worked really hard with her for those 2 transfers. When hermana karlen came, I'm not exactly sure what happened, but we could never met with Dora and she would never pick up or she was never home. (A trail of faith and patience!) The last week with hermana karlen we finally got ahold of her and met with her. Dora told us that she has beautiful things to tell us... so this week, we go to meet with her and we talked about the spirit and how we can receive answers and the importance of revelation. All of a sudden.. Dora tells us about an experience that she had a work and how God just always answers her prayers and how she always receives the strength that she needs to work and do what she needs to get done. She then testifies to us about how she knows that god loves her, that Jesucristo is her savior, that the Book of Mormon is true and then, she tells us that the way she can show god her love and how much she loves him is by being baptized! (😁🤣🙃😯😭😄) my heart was so full and we just testified to her and told her how much God truly does love her. This has been such a cool thing for me because we worked so hard through all of this, but she just needed a little more time. She needed that transfer "rest" and the fruits are being seen now! The fight still isn't up- so we keep praying, keep working, and we just turn it all to God because this is truly his work. But ahh, I'm so so excited for Dorita!

This past week all of the youth from the spain Madrid mission went to efy and so yesterday they got to bear their testimonies in sacrament meeting. They all came back with FIRE in them and they were all just filled with the Holy Ghost. On of the 14 year olds got up and testified about how spending a week in a "Zion hotel" was amazing, but when he walked out and was on the real street, he realized how many people didn't (and don't!) have  gospel and how there is so much work for us to do. This coming out of a little ones mouth was so powerful and the spirit was so strong. I am so grateful for the experiences that I had at EFY and HEFY when I was younger and I feel so blessed for just he knowledge that we have of the restoration. I know that Jesucristo is our savior, i know that He lives and I know that he loves us. I'm headed off for the week so I'll be back next week! Have a great week! Hope you're reading in the Book of Mormon and praying everyday.

I know that God knows and loves us- perfectly!!! ❤️❤️
