We are headed to Azuqueca

Hello hello! Happy day!

This week has been increíble and I feel so beyond blessed! This last week, being the last week in the mission for hermana Karlen, I really wanted to have a great week... and all I have to say is that Heavenly Father is SO good. He is so increíble and I know that He is so aware of us. This week consisted of things like our miracle friend that we met about 2 weeks ago teaching US the restoration, we had 30 people at Family home evening (!!!!!!) which was AMAZING!

Visiting a member in the hospital and making a little homemade lunch so the wife wouldn't have to have machine food, and we finished the Book of Mormon! Our friends are all doing really well and they are all progressing and one of my favorite things that I have seen is the light of Christ and comfort that we can truly find through Him.

I talked a little bit about the Book of Mormon challenge that president pack gave us, to read the Book of Mormon in this last transfer and hermana karlen and I did it, together!! I am so grateful for hermana karlen for her love, her support and the light that she just radiates of Christ. She was no where close to "dying" and she truly was in it to the last minute. I am so excited and proud of her and all of the hard work and things she has helped me do here in Guadalajara these past 6 weeks.

With changes and transfers, my new companion is the hermana Barlow! She is from Nevada, Las Vegas and she has 2 more transfers left. She is amazing and I am so excited to work with her and to help her meet all of our friends. I'm excited to keep working to keep going and I really just want to give it my all to the people to the ward and to God. These next 6 weeks, this transfer is going to be super busy and crazy. They are doing a little construction in our little capilla here (our church is just a bajo, which is just like the ground floor of a building). They are going to take a wall out to make the sacrament room a little bigger... sooo with that, we will be headed to Azuqueca, a town next to us, which is a ward and they have a beautiful chapel!! (For the next 7 weeks or so) will have a special bus to take us there and back on Sundays, but we won't have a place to do English class and family home evening... im a little sad/ worried because this week we had so many people at the noche de hogar (Family Home Evening) and it's really growing! The members are coming to support, our friends are coming and this past week was just such a great night! Even though I am worried, I'm a little excited for this "trial of faith". We do have to travel and maybe sacrifice a little to get there, yes I'm worried about our friends getting there with us, but I'm excited to help them really see the importance of church and getting to our meetings on Sundays. I'm excited and I know it'll all be ok!

Sorry I'm running out of time, but I just want to end saying that I know the Jesus Christ is our savior and that he loves us. I know with my whole heart that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that it is the word of God and I know that we truly can find the answers to questions of our souls.

I love being a missionary, I love the work, I love the people and I love being here. Have a great week and I'll be back next week!!

Just a little scripture to end.. 3 Nefi 18:24 - Therefore, hold up your light that it may shine unto the world. Behold I am the light which ye shall hold up--that which ye have seen me do

Hold up your lights. Be a light. Follow the light!

(Sorry I'm not very good with my words/writing... I'm trying!)
