Because I'm HAPPY 😀❤️

HOLA HOLA!

Well, to be honest, if you were to ask me how I'm doing from 1/10 right now, I think I would say 100000! I don't think there really are words to explain, but I'll try to tell you about the week we've had here in Guadalajara.

Monday, we ended up cooking and eating with our friends Dora! Yummy Peruvian food! Tuesday we went to Madrid to help with a service project with other missionaries! We spent most of the day there and when we got back, we had piso checks (a senior missionary couple came to check the piso to make sure all was clean and working)- we passed! After checks, we ran to the church for family home evening with the ward. We only had 4 people there, but it was fun! Hermana Estrada and I made like a church jeopardy game! (Check picture!) it was fun and we all learned a lot!

Of course there were things that happened in between Tuesday and Saturday- this week we've eaten a lot of food (from Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Honduras, America) and I don't know how we do it- but it's a blessing. I'm excited to show you all my cooking skills in a few months!😋

Well, Saturday was transfer call day and I was sooo nervous! We don't get the phone call until like 9 at night, so it was a day of waiting and nerves. I said a lot of prayers that day, and I even found myself kneeling in the bathroom at the church just asking for peace and comfort. I was really nervous that Hermana Estrada would leave and I would be in charge of area training. I felt so much peace on Saturday and knew that it was all be ok. I know that my Heavenly Father knows me and I know he knows what I can do and what I can handle. (I read a quote this week that I wanted to share that has really helped me... "our loving Heavenly Father is always with us. He loves us and wants us to be happy. His comfort is always available to us, but we have to actively seek that comfort and be willing to accept it.") I love this because it's so true. Heavenly Father wants to helps us, but we have to be willing but more importantly, we have to ACCEPT the peace and comfort he gives us. There were a lot of moments when I felt such peace, and then I realized how at peace I was and that's when I started to get nervous all over again. I know God loves us, and he really does know how to help.

So, transfers happened.. ANDDDD we're both staying here in Guadalajara! Wahooo!!! We are both so excited, and all week long we prayed that we could stay together for more time. We are seeing so many miracles, life is so fun, and when we work hard, the blessings are just being poured upon us. One of the giant blessings we had was all of our friends at church with us on Sunday. WE HAD 6 friends with us! May not seem like that big of a deal, but that is increíble! It's amazing how happy these little things can make you, but it's because we know, I know how important it is to come to church every week and it's truly the best way, and only way to fill up our spiritual tank and get us started on the next week ahead. In this world today, we truly need all the protection and guidance that we can get!

This week is a new week, a new transfer, new goals, and new adventures. I truly love the mission and I am so happy. I know that our Savior loves us and I know that He lives. I know that when we are obedient, and when we truly give it our all, that when our Heavenly Father can truly bless us, lead us, and guide us!
2 nephi 25: 23 For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do.
Do all that you can do to serve, love and help those around you!!

Well, I'm off for the week! Have a great week!

Life is great, the church is true, I'm a child of god and SO ARE YOU!
