LORO PARQUE!!

Hello familia!

So today we went to LORO PARQUE!! (It is like the Sea World here in the island!) it was so much fun! But we just got back... And I have such little little time to write, so sorry this is going to be short! This week has been an interesting week and a lot going on. I'm not exactly sure what I'm wanting to share, or what I should say, but all that I can think of is how much I have learned and how much I am growing. I can literally feel my Heavenly Father pulling and stretching me and I can feel the patience in me growing... I don't know if that make any sense, but it makes me think of the Mormon message called "the will of God". Sometimes, most of the time, God gives us trials to help us really turn to him and trust in him. This week I have really felt that.

I don't know what to say right now and my mind is really frazzled and I don't know what to say, but I have a few people that maybe you could include in your prayers this week?

  • Mariflor-- have the strength and faith to repent and LIVE the gospel
  • Maria-- to listen and have an open heart so the spirit can talk to her and we can teach her
  • Andres-- to find a piso and to permit us to teach and help him
  • Elaine-- read and Holy Ghost help (her family are members in Brazil)
  • Rosa and family-- to read the scriptures and pray as a family. To come to church and to have her husbands heart soft ended.
  • Jimena/Oscar-- read scriptures. Importance of baptism
  • Familia Lattanzio-- to read as a family, to come to church, to feel the spirit in their home

Prayers to help us to find those who are ready and really want to learn and live this gospel...

I guess what I really want to share is that I know this church is true. I know that we can live as a family forever. I am so grateful that we have knowledge of the plan of salvation and that we can live with our father in heaven again. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Joseph smith was a prophet.

Like I said, I'm so so sorry this was so short. I had a lot of things I had to put in for our numbers this week and so little time to write. Next week will be better, but know I'm doing great. Thanks for everything!

This week I also focused on service... A lot of service and a lot on looking out for others, thinking of others, and not so much about myself and my desires... AM I A GETTER OR A GIVER?

"Taking up one’s cross and following the Savior means overcoming selfishness; it is a commitment to serve others."---James E Faust This week I've really focused on overcoming my desires and totally giving the Lord, my mission, the people here and everything my all.

I know that our savior lives. I know that he knows and loves everyone of us!

Have a great week! Besitos.

Hermanita Curtis
