FELIZ san Valentín (happy Valentine's) week! This week we wanted to spread some extra love to our friends here and the members here in LUGO! We decided we wanted to "heart attack" them, so we did a lot of drawing, decorating, cutting, and we saw un montón de miracles this day! Here in Spain you have to ring the doorbell and they have to let you into the building first before you can get in to go to their door. With every building we went to, we saw a miracle to get in- whether it was someone coming out at the right time, someone else opening and letting us in, or even just the door was already unlocked and open. This was a miracle for us ALL day long because it's hard, and seriously, more than 15 places we could get into to leave hearts and spread some love. GOD IS SO GOOD!
This week we celebrated Valentine's days, I have 11 months in the mission, my companion hit her 1 year mark, she had her 22 birthday, and we had a night of talents with the Rama! (The branch!) I got to play the violin and fiddle a little- it was a good night and we had a really good turn out! Busy week!
Sunday my companion and I got to teach singing time in primary and we had 4 new kids come- There are about 5 or 6 in the primary now, so with the 4 new that came we felt giant! They are all so cute, and all so anxious to learn and sing with their whole hearts.
This week we had good days and amazing days weather wise. The other day we went out without coats because it felt so good! LUGO changes everyday and tricks you because one day it will be great and the next day we need our ark to get us around the city.
Family, I don't know if you would recognize me right now because of the things I eat... mom would always joke that I would only eat hamburgers if I was on my death bed- but wanna know something?? the mission definitely changes you. I don't know if it's because I'm hungry, or what, but i think they are blessings from the Lord. I now eat hard boiled eggs, hamburger meat, beat salad, potatoes, and I have hot chocolate at least 2 times a day. (My companion laughs because she says I'm like a grandma always drinking hot chocolate- what can I say, I love it!) also, yesterday I ate some salad that was only onions, peppers and tomato! That is not normal for me!
And if you know me, you would know that ALL of the things were not me less than a year ago... the Lord works wonders and changes happen! Food wise, gospel wise and and life wise!
With all joking aside with the food, I feel very blessed to be here in Spain as a representative of the church and My Savior. I know He lives and I know He loves each of us.
