He knows how to touch our hearts

Hello hello! What a crazy week we've had here!
Last week we were in Madrid for the temple tour and the time there was absolutely incredible! While we were waiting to go into the temple, I wanted to go to the MTC to see if Melon (Hermana Storhiem- I think that her name, I only know her as melon from camp!) was there so I could see her. (Granddaughter of pres/sister Marriott) and she was leaving to go play sports- miracle because she had just left and was looking for me too- i RAN to go hug her and it was so good to see a familiar friend face! She's doing great, and I hope to see her again soon!

I also got to see cute Hermana Schwicht (my cute companion that I trained😁) she's serving here in the north now too!

Wednesday we had our mission tour and the conference in Azuqueca with Elder Soares, and it was incredible!!! We learned so much and we were so blessed to have him here!

After we left the conference, we had some time to contact in Madrid before we caught our 10:30pm train. Within 1 hour, my companion and I had talked to more than 80 people, and we had gotten 4 references! I'm grateful for simple prayers to help us have the words we need to say what we need to say- especially when contacting. We were excited to put in practice the things we learned at the conference.

Wednesday night we hoped on our 11 hour train ride to come back here to LUGO. Adventures on the mission- wahoo!!

We came back from the conference, excited like always and ready to change, be better and put into practice the things we learned. As we were preparing for the conference, before we had some time to study, mediate, and ponder before the meeting started. I wrote down some questions that I had/some things I've been struggling with and throughout the whole meeting, I noticed that every single question was being answered. By the end, every one of my questions had been answered! SO COOL because it was just another testimony builder moment to know that my Heavenly Father is aware of what's going on here in the mission, in LUGO, and he knows me and what I need. From the little things, to the big things, He knows what we need, and not only that, he knows how to touch our hearts, but only if we allow him to help us and guide us.

We had a good weekend, of contacting and talking to people (like always😁) and we had a great miracle! There is a less active here who we've never met and I think almost everyday we have tried passing by to meet her, but she is never home- in the morning, afternoon, night, never. We decided that we would continue praying to meet her, and we would just continue doing our part. (There is a funny Mormon message called "reach out with love" and I felt a lot like Guillermo with this situation- Watch it!) anyways, Sunday we were at church greeting people and all of a sudden someone walked in- the person we had never met, someone we had never seen, but had been passing by for I don't know how many weeks now- was now in front of us at church. We knew it was her without even meeting her. MIRACLE!! I know this wasn't because of us, but I know it was being we were doing what we should have been doing and we keep going and working even though we don't always see immediate results.

We've had a good week of spiritual experiences and we're excited to keep going and keep working to help build the kingdom of God here in LUGO. I feel so blessed to be a representative of my Savior and work everyday to find those who are really ready and want to change. I know this gospel is true, I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and I know our savior Jesus Christ lives!

The world gets crazier and crazier everyday- the world tells us to do this and to do that, and the worldly things lead us further and further away from the plan of God. Stay strong and seek first the kingdom of God. Read your scriptures, say your prayers, serve others, and do what you should!

Matthew 6: 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness

Have a great week! Thanks for all the love, support, and prayers!
We are so blessed, I'm so blessed!

Life is great, the church is true, I'm a child of God and so are you!
