What a crazy week we had! This week we were all over the place in this island. We had zone conference on Friday in la Laguna (the top of the island) and we also had Stake conference there on Sunday. My brain is running 1000000 miles an hour and I'm not exactly sure what to write. But, here are a few key parts of my week.
Miracles in lessons:
Rosa and her daughters. Rosa is the mom and her family has been investigating the church for like 2 years. Hermana Jimenez and I felt very stuck on what we should do, and what we should teach because they've basically been taught everything. So, we decided to go back and teach lesson one. Everything went great, and I definitely said things, words, phrases, that I have never ever said before. The gifts of tongues is real! When we walked out of the lesson, Hermana Jimenez said something to me about it and I had no words to explain what had just happened.
I don't have a ton of time right now, but I wanted to share a little bit about our Zone Comference. All week we prepared, read, and studied the Book of Mormon and about the Book of Mormon. Our conference was about how we can use the Book of Mormon to answer questions to our souls and how this book is such a blessing in our lives.
I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and I am learning something new about it everyday.
Ahh my connection is so horrible right now, and nothing is sending... So, I'm sorry this is so short. But I invite you to read the Book of Mormon, or continue to read and think about the questions of your soul. Whether it be spiritual, temporal, or whatever. Write it down. Read the Book of Mormon, pray. And ask God for help to discover and find the answers. God is our Heavenly Father and what is important to us is important to him!
My time is up and I have to run, but I love you and I'm so grateful for this opportunity I have to serve.
