Listen to the Holy Ghost, Listen, Listen

Another week come and gone here at the Spain CCM, and I am still loving every minute here. This week has been really stressful and a lot going on, but I am loving every minute and I take things poco a poco. It’s just how it goes and as mom says, ITS A GREAT DAY TO BE A MISSIONARY, which is honestly the truth. Every day we see so many miracles here and it blows my mind and I feel so blessed and grateful. Last p-day my cute companion lost her wallet while coming back from the prado in the metro and it was an adventurous day. After much prayer, tears, a phone call or two home to cancel her card, and again more prayers, we walked to the police station to report it and as soon as we said “United States” he slide her passport under the window. A guard from the metro found it, passport, card, temple recommend and all were still in there. They only took 40 euros which is a blessing and such a miracle!

General Conference was AMAZING. We got to watch 2 sessions live, morning for you, but night here. I loved hearing the words from the prophets and getting that extra strength that is much needed. I hope you will all continue to study the words of the prophets and listen to their counsel, we are so blessed!

This week, I have really really focused on listening to the spirit and being guided by it to know what to teach, what to say, and how to say it. Hermana Campbell and I got assigned to lead BOM discussion in our district and in personal study we found some of our favorites that we would share during comp. We prayed to be guided to know what to read, and we started reading. Nothing felt right. I had the biggest prayer in my heart and I REALLY wanted Heavenly Father to put a chapter in my mind... it was weird I was asking for this because I am not the person at all where things like that just come to me. We were reading and all of a sudden, it came. Distinctly in my mind I saw Alma 32, underlined in red (how it is in my scriptures) and that was it. Our prayer was answered and it was exactly what we needed!! That short description doesn’t give it justice, but it was so cool to experience that.

There’s not much going on around here, just preparing, learning, practicing, and loving life. Mom, the other night I had like half a dream in Spanish, but I promise that doesn’t mean I actually understand it, ha.

Thanks to all who wrote letters this week! I got them all yesterday morning and it was literally like Christmas!!
