It's all worth it.
Hello hello from Guadalajara!
I can't believe this day is here! Lots of emotions, sentimientos, but I'm excited and I'm happy! This week has been another great week, and another week of miracles.
Tuesday morning we headed out to the streets to do pancarta (the picture of Christ) with the elders and our ward mission leader. My goodness was it a hard morning. It was an hour and a half of full REJECTION! No one wanted anything to do with us and it was rough! As we walked home, it was a cool feeling just realizing how far we and I had come. We get a lot rejection here in Spain... but wanna know something? It's all worth it. Because Heavenly Father always puts those who are ready in our path and there truly are those who are out there waiting, we just have to find them! (Or they find us too! Quick story and miracle! I don't know if you remember Elaine from Los Cristianos? The one who called us? We taught her and she was going to get baptized. Then her husband passed away the night before? Well, this week I got a phone calls from the hermanas in Los Cristianos telling me that they had met with her and she was wanting to come back to church! After 8 months of prayers- my prayer had been answered! Miracle!!!) something that I've really learned is patience, faith and just trusting in the Lord. Because, He knows!
From the moment I woke up Tuesday morning I knew it would be a difficult day, but I'm grateful for the faith and strength we had to get us through that day- and because we endured, we were blessed and miracles were seeen! We had a great noche de hogar with the ward and our friends and almost 30 people came!
Saturday afternoon the elders had a baptism and hermana Barlow and I had the opportunity to do a Musical number- she played the piano and I got to play the viola. I have loved the chance I have had to share gods love through music and to bring the spirit.
I don't have much more time to write... but I just want to say and to testify that I know that Heavenly Father loves us. I know Jesucristo is our savior. I know that the Book of Mormon is he word of God and I know that the church has been restored!
I don't know if I'll have much time to write next week- but if not, I'll see you soon?!
Love you all- thanks for the support, and love through this journey! One adventure ends, but the next begins!
I love my savior Jesucristo and i feel so blessed to be here. Here's to one more week! Wahoo!!!
